Tech Lighting T-Trak Line Voltage Monorail Track Lighting

T~TRAK, Tech Lighting's award winning, architectural, hand-bendable 120 volt track system.

  • Available as single-circuit or two-circuit which allows for two independent layers of light off the same system.
  • T~TRAK also includes our Power Jack Monopoint canopies.
  • A wide selection of line-voltage heads and pendants.
  • Adapters available to use Low-voltage heads and pendants.
  • Multiple lamping options to meet the needs of virtually any application.
  • Available single or 2-Circuit.

Design your rail.

  • Determine what you are trying to light.
  • Decide where heads or pendants should be to put the light where you want it.
  • Draw out your T-Trak run so it intersects the locations of all the heads and pendants and runs directly beneath the ceiling junction box that will power the system.
  • Determine if you will be using Single-Circuit T~TRAK or Two-Circuit T~TRAK then specify how many sections of track you'll need.
  • T-Trak can be shaped by hand to follow architectural details or to create an organic shape. Factory pre-bent shapes are also offered in several configurations.
  • Do you want your rail to be attached from the ceiling or the wall?
  • Decide how far down from the ceiling you want the system to drop.
  • T-Trak can curve horizontally and vertically.
  • Choose a power feed canopy of the appropriate length and style.
  • The maximum standard drop for T~TRAK is eight feet from the ceiling.
  • Add standoffs with connector to join sections of T~TRAK end to end while supporting the system.
  • Order one for each connection point between track sections. Select the appropriate length to match the specified drop for the system.
  • Add rigid standoffs without connector to support the system. Order one for the center of each 8' track section plus two for the ends of the run. This ensures support for T~TRAK every four feet. For especially curvy runs, order additional standoffs without connector to support peaks of curves and heavy heads and pendants, as required.
  • Select the appropriate length to match the specified drop for the system. Standoffs and power feed canopies are field-cuttable, so it's easy to achieve a custom drop length.

Choose your lights.

  • Decide where the fixtures should be installed to put light where you want it.
  • Select from an array Line Voltage Architectural Heads.
  • Add optional colorful and decorative accessories and functional optical controls.
  • T-Track Line Voltage Monorail Pendants
Suspend these pendants from T-Trak, Tech Lighting's hand-bendable, field-cuttable line-voltage monorail track system.

(Or start with pendants, fixtures and accessories, then decide which layout will best support them.)

How do I design my own T-Trak System?

1st: Design Your T-Trak System

Elements (Pendants, Heads and Functional Art):
Choose your elements.
Choose Accessories and Optical Controls, if required or desired.
Choose lamps that do not exceed maximum wattage of element or accessory.
(These may be included, we can help you with this.)

Finish
Choose finish of system and make sure all components
are specified as such.

Design
Use a scaled drawing as a reference.

Measure
Measure the Length of your T-Trak run
Determine the quantity and Length of T-Trak pieces required.
Determine number of Rigid Standoffs with Connector, one for each connection point between track sections.
Determine number of Rigid Standoffs without Connector, one for the center of each 8' track section plus two for the ends of the run.

Does the run include a sharp angle or turn?
If so, specify a Flexible Connector to make the turn and add 2 Rigid Standoffs without Connector.

Would you like the track to be custom bent at the factory? Let us know and we will get a quote for you.

2nd: Add Power and Hardware to Complete the System

Power Feed Canopy:
Determine how far below the ceiling the system will be dropped.

Choose:
Type of Power Feed
Length of Drop
If using a power feed canopy "with connector" you can reduce your standoff with connector count (on previous page) by one.

Mounting:
Select Rigid Standoffs with Connector that match the drop of the Power Feed Canopy.

Select Rigid Standoffs without Connector that match the drop of the Power Feed Canopy.

Is the ceiling vaulted? If so specify one Power Vault Adapter for each Power Feed Canopy.

Then specify one Standoff Vault Adapter for each Standoff.

This outline covers only the most common T-Trak applications, but T-Trak can do almost anything.

Checklist
Make sure your Bill of Materials includes:

Power Feed Canopy without connector if powering from the center of a section of track; with connector if joining sections of track

Standoffs with Connector one for each connection point between track sections

Standoffs without Connector one for the center of each 8' track section plus two for the ends
of the run

Elements

Accessories and Optical Controls

Lamps—if not included with elements; lamps must not exceed maximum wattage of element
or accessory
